tumblrbot asked:

WHAT IS YOUR EARLIEST HUMAN MEMORY?

That is probably one of the best, yet most difficult questions I’ve ever been asked!  I’m going to go with the first time I ever read a book.  I was three years old sitting in my mom and step dads living room on the floor at an old apartment we lived in.  The book was really tiny and it was called “The Three Little Kittens Who Lost Their Mittens.”  I remember how proud my parents were that I could read at such a young age.  :}

Butterfly Nebula from Upgraded Hubble

Distance: 4,000 light years away

The bright clusters and nebulae of planet Earth’s night sky are often named for flowers or insects, and NGC 6302 is no exception. With an estimated surface temperature of about 250,000 degrees C, the central star of this particular planetary nebula is exceptionally hot though — shining brightly in ultraviolet light but hidden from direct view by a dense torus of dust. This dramatically detailed close-up of the dying star’s nebula was recorded by the upgraded Hubble Space Telescope.

A day without love is a day without life.

It is so very important for each and every one of us unique, complex beings to realize with all of our heart and souls that we are, in fact; living, breathing, walking, talking miracles who have been chosen by a much higher power to be here for a much more divine purpose.  No matter what your beliefs may be, we should all be able to agree on one concept - that we are, in fact, special and unique in our own ways…we all have a purpose; no matter how small or how great it may be.  What might your purpose be?

Although I may not know just yet exactly what my divine purpose in life may be, I am able to put together the key ingredients of what I wish to fill my life recipe with;
Love.
Kindness.
Wisdom.
Intuition.
Faith.
Hope.
Peace.
Serenity.

Mixed in with all of these wonderful life “ingredients,” it is still important to keep in mind that you must always fight for what you love and believe in.  This does not necessarily mean physically; but mentally and emotionally…use wise, respectful words to get your point across.  Stand for something or you shall easily fall for anything.  Kill hate with love and kindness.  It may never die but in the end you shall be the bigger, better person; others will see this and respect will be given.

Begin your day by thinking about all the positive things in your life, no matter how big or small, and be thankful for it.  Focus on positivity and when negative things enter your world it is okay to give them thought; but instead of dwelling on them realize that everything happens for a reason, including this, no matter how big of a nuisance it may be at the moment.  Each and every issue that we are faced with in life, each choice that we make, ultimately affects our entire life.  ”What doesn’t kill you only makes you stronger” is one of the most used quotes out there, but it holds so much truth.  Our life experiences, good and bad, mold us into the people that we are and will continue to be.

It’s so ironic and unfortunate that it often times takes the death of a loved one to truly have these kinds of realizations; but oh how strong the impact on every single person in that persons life  can be.  The death of my beautiful friend Christiana has made me want to be a better individual because of how amazing she was in life, and the huge impact she had on so many souls in death.

For the record…I feel as though this was mostly written for myself…words that I needed to put on “paper,” so to speak, but maybe…just maybe, someone else out there will be affected by this as well.  May peace, love and light be with you always, my friend.  ~Reese
